Living at the of Europe
I recommend living in some of the student residences in Nürnberg or Erlangen. The dormitories organize very often meetings for the new students. This will help you to meet people from different cultures, improve your German and to learn more about the city and the university from experienced students. It will also help you to adapt quickly and to manage the administration issues problem-free.

Make sure you have all the necessary documents together. Yes, we know. Applying at a German university can be quite challenging. So make sure to give yourself and us enough time to help you prepare adequately.
Prepare
One of the most important first steps after applying is organizing a visa or residence permit. In some cases these documents can take up to six months to process. You will also need to clarify whether you need health insurance in Germany.
